earthquake!!
Apr. 18th, 2008 06:59 amWe had an earthquake this morning! They're saying preliminary data says it was 5.4 magnitude, and the epicenter was up in Illinois somewhere. I actually felt it--though down in Etown it felt just like a big gust of wind rattling the house a bit. That's what I thought it was, and then dismissed it in the rush to get ready for work. When I got in the car and had the news on, and they said "earthquake!" I was all !!!!!
I always forget this, but I do live on a fault line. It's just not a real active fault line -- the last quake/tremor, I guess, was in 1980, with the epicenter in the same approximate area. Before that, it was 1906--so not real often.
I'm still kind of 'whoa', here. Because--earthquake!
