Blood Debt, 1/1, Sam/Ruby, NC-17
Dec. 9th, 2011 06:58 amTitle: Blood Debt
Pairing: Sam/Ruby; implied past Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17
Words: ~900
Warnings: Blood play/consumption; ( Under cut. )
Spoilers: None
A/N: I re-watched some of S4 last night – particularly 4x09 /4x10 – and this just kind of popped into my head. I'm still amazed that I was able to write something, even if it wasn't either of the things I need to be writing. Hope you enjoy :)
Summary: It's been days since she fed him and hunger rattles through him, sharp and bright; a knife-edge slicing into him.

holiday wish list 2011
Dec. 1st, 2011 08:34 pmStep One:
Make an LJ post. It can be public or friends only, whatever you’re most comfortable with. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes, and these wishes can be anything - from simple (a fan fiction written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new laptop or car).
Just make sure these are wishes for things you really truly want.
Step Two:
Skim through your friends list and see who has posted their own wish lists. Then - and this is the most important part - if you find a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make sure that person’s wish comes true.
Sometimes a person’s trash is another person’s treasure. If you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you’re never going to use, give it to someone who wants it.
Step Three:
Post this wish list any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday fairy - to spread the joy.
Gifts can be made anonymously or not, it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Title: The Going of Time (Ten Years Gone)
Pairing: JC/Chris
Rating: PGish
Words: ~650
A/N: I am so out of practice with Chris and JC. o_O I blame this on the 132094132498 hours I spent on YouTube the other night, watching things like the Atlantis Concert, and the PopOd tour clips, and so on…and then realizing it's been roughly ten years since Nsync did the Atlantis concert. Anyway…if I haven't killed y'all off with heart attacks, I hope you enjoy this :)

For

some questions I need answers for
Mar. 19th, 2011 04:56 pmAs they're relevant to my Big Bang. Anyone who can answer these will have my undying devotion :)
Life Insurance: in the event of a death (auto accident, not the policy holder's fault), how soon would the named beneficiary receive the payout? Is it paid as a lump sum, or in installments? Are taxes taken out of it, or does the beneficiary have to take care of that?
Auto Insurance: how would this work, if it's the fault of the other party? Would that party's insurance contact the survivors of the accident, or do the survivors have to do the contacting? Presumably doctor bills, etc., would be either paid up front or reimbursed by the party at fault?
Medical: you have a 16yr old brought to your ER. Both parents are dead; nearest surviving relative is on the way, but not expected for several hours. Patient is bleeding internally, in addition to a broken leg and assorted contusions, etc. Would the doctors take the patient into surgery w/out a signed consent form, rather than risk patient's life further? Or would they be forced to wait? Could the emergency (non-relative) contact give prelim consent for the surgery?
Any help is greatly appreciated :)

my, how time flies
Mar. 12th, 2011 05:13 pmToday is my LJ-versary. I've been here for nine years. *looks around* I have some people on my flist that have been here since that first day; I have a bunch of new ones I don't know hardly at all, but hopefully will before too long.

One of the "writer's block" questions recently was what major events in your life have you celebrated/passed/gone through with your journal?
Major home remodeling project (bathroom)
Debilitating illness
Divorce
Birth of both of my nieces
Loss of my beloved kitty
Death of two grandmothers (2/2003 and 12/2005)
Losing my home
Finding a job
Buying a new car
Being laid-off from my job
In addition, you all have been here for me when I was depressed, sad, scared, and angry. You've supported me through Matthew's meltdowns and med changes, and seen him move through grade school, junior high and now high school. You've listened when I needed an ear, and offered hugs and advice. Some of you I've met, some I've talked to on the phone, most of you I'll probably never get to meet in person...but you are as important to me as any "real life" friends could be.
I never thought LJ would be anything I'd stick around for, or use much...and now, I can't imagine my life without it, and the sense of community it provides. Thank you, everyone. :)

Feb. 17th, 2011 07:19 pmTitle: Beautiful Scars
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17
Words: ~2000
Spoilers/Warnings: post-6.12; references to an established relationship
Summary: "Was I really—that different?" Sam sounds impossibly young, and Dean scoots closer, settling so he's pressed against the length of Sam's body.
A/N: I really, really wanted reunion!sex, after that hug when Sam woke up. I'm pretty sure the guys wanted reunion!sex too, because they actually cooperated with me while I was writing this. I was a little surprised by the direction a couple things took; for those of y'all who know me pretty well, you'll probably figure it out when you see it :) Many thanks to

Title: Wrapped In the Arms of Love
Pairing: Steve/Danny
Words: ~970
Rating: PG
Warnings/Spoilers: References events in 1.17
Summary: "Go hug Grace, Danny," he said finally, scrubbing his hands over his face. "You can drop me off at my house after."
A/N: This is for
raynedanser , who said to me, "there needs to be coda fic where Danny goes to hug Grace." This wasn't quite what I'd expected to come out when I sat down to write, but hey. I'm just the writer, why should I be in charge of what Steve and Danny decide to do? Anyway, hope y'all enjoy :)

Title: And Then There Were None
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17
Words: ~1200
Warnings: ( Putting this behind a cut, so as not to spoil those who might not want to be spoiled. )
Summary: You just had to scratch, didn't you, Sammy?
A/N: This was written for
blindfold_spn, and was my second and last fill. I've actually just done a lot of editing on it, and expanded it (by about five hundred words, oi). The prompt is up above, under the cut. This isn't a happy story, and unfortunately, I don't have any problem imagining that this could be one of the ways things could go for Sam and Dean :( If you do read it, I would love to hear what you think about it, since it's definitely a new direction for me.

Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: R
Words: ~865
Spoilers/Warning: Male lactation
Summary: Dean didn't think he got hit by the witch's spell. He was wrong.
A/N: Written for the
blindfold_spn fill Dean’s lactating and it’s a little bit painful, not to mention humiliating. Sam’s helps out.. I meant to post this last week, and got caught up in first-week-of-classes stuff. Whoops? Anyway, here's me claiming my first fill (#2 coming in a minute!) Hope y'all enjoy it. :)

Genre: hurt/comfort, I guess
Rating: PG
Words: ~700
Spoilers/Warnings: Vague references to events from 1x13 (very vague); no warnings.
Summary: First-aid can take a lot of different forms.
A/N: I blame
raynedanser for this. I also blame my kid, who looked at me last night and said, "Mary/Kono would be *hot*, mom". *facepalm* Yes, it would be, but geez that was traumatizing. There's no sex in this, so I don't know how hot it is, but there is comfort. Which apparently is what I'm destined to write in H50 fic, regardless of if the story is m/m or f/f. Hope y'all enjoy this :-) (Also, icon!fail -- clearly I need to get with the program and upload more H50 icons.)

A/N: I wrote this a while ago, and then tucked it away and forgot about it. I've dusted it off, and thought I'd toss it out and see what y'all think. (And boy, do I have the new-fandom!wobbles here.) Hope y'all enjoy it :)
