So, checking the stats again for Infinite Passions, and I find this link off the "error 404" page. Eight hits off it, for the movie short I linked to a while back, "Starcrossed".

That link? Takes you to what is essentially almost TWO YEARS worth of my journal entries! Full stories, chatter, media shares, all kinds of stuff. TWO YEARS worth!

The kicker is the site is all in...I don't know. Japanese? Chinese? I don't know anything about any of the Asian languages, I'm sorry. The characters look enough alike that I couldn't begin to tell which language it is. And I'm sorry to say that. But in any case, there are no links in English, so I can't even email and ask them to please take those links down. Is there anyone out there on my flist who could translate any of that page? Or contact the owners?

Geez, first it was the Portugese Supernatural site, and then for a while there was some other thing I never did figure out (but that stopped after I blocked the files), but it never was full journal entries like this. Gah.

ETA: I found an email address. I don't know if it'll do any good, but I've asked them to take the pages down. I mean, whole entries! Completely reproduced, but without any of my information (as in, who wrote the stories, etc)...and definitely without my permission. And that really pisses me off.

Wow. That's bizarre. And annoying. Gah. The only foreign-language links I've found to my photo galleries have been on a Russian LJ, and there was something a couple of years ago... memory fading... I want to say it was eastern European... but they were both just normal links and people talking about, "Oh, look at the men in kilts!" (Heh. This is what happens when you specialize in concert photography of Celtic musicians. I get it a lot in English, too. *g*) So I was mostly just amused. I remember in particular, the Russians called this guy (http://vickita.org/else/gallery/tulsa2006/images/1_IMG0032.jpg) "picturesque." Or, at least, that's what Babelfish came up with for it.

It's in Chinese. As far as I can tell it's basically a cross between an rss reader and one of those sites like Digg or Del.icio.us, where you bookmark a page and it tells you when it's updated.

Mostly, I think you have a fan in China or something that really wants to read your entries?
