Okay. Silverfish and ants, I've had 'em since we moved in here, I can deal. Earthworms... weird, but again, I can deal. It's not like they're going to suddenly rise up and eat me.

I JUST KILLED A FUCKING CENTIPEDE IN MY KITCHEN OMG.

I am so squicked out right now I want to cry, and every puff of air that goes past me from the fan, it's making me think there are bugs crawling all over me.

I seriously am freaking out. I will call the apartment manager first thing, but no one gets in until 8:30a. That's HOURS away, and even then the pest guy won't come until he finishes with his day job. *shudders*

Someone make the bugs go away, PLEASE.

OH wow. How did THAT happen in the gap between me replying to your last one!
ACCCCKKKKKKKK! Silverfish we get a few of, seasonally, they eat all my paperbacks.
But centipedes? And WORMS? That's just too much!

Just take deep breaths. It's highly unlikely that anything will come on you, and even if one thing did (which it won't) you could just scream and shake it off, BUT YOU WOULD STILL BE OKAY.
So even if the worst came to the worst, IT WOULD BE OKAY.

Keep repeating that! And someone can come and sort it out for you first thing tomorrow.

You can do it! Don't let the bugs win!

DUde! Dude! The centipede eats silverfish and ants and roaches and everything else! Seriously, they eat other bugs and will clear them right out for you!

Doesn't make it any less icky if you don't like them, of course. But a couple of house centipedes will clear out your insect problem quicker than an exterminator!

I have a serious aversion to centipedes. As apetslife said above, they do catch and eat the other crawlies, and they don't bite people.

Doesn't make them any less unnerving though. too... many.... legs....... They make me want to stand on a chair like a housewife in a fifties sitcom.
