At least if he's picketing comic/sff fans, he's leaving funerals alone, right? Oi.
Something I've been pondering and wondering for awhile now: all the anti-gay protesters who are so concerned for my soul, and the soul of anyone gay, or who supports gay rights, etc., why do they care? If they feel secure that their soul is safe, what does it matter to them if mine isn't? It'll be MY issue, come judgment day.
And as far as Phelps is concerned, he already believes that those who are saved and those who aren't is pre-ordained, since the beginning of time...so again: why does he CARE?
I'm really surprised he's still walking around; that no one's shot him, or whatever. I guess all that raging hatred acts as a shield of some sort. :-/

Date: 2010-07-10 07:17 pm (UTC)I'm also surprised no one has tried to off him. It's funny, I'm very anti violence but if I heard that one day he's come a cropper I couldn't say I'd be sad about it. He spreads such hate and unfortunately I think he is waaaaaaaaaaaay beyond reasoning with.
