Ah-hah, see, I've seen the picture before, but I couldn't have told you who it was if my life depended on it. *g* Have never really gotten into bandom. Though I had an icon or two once of...Frank something-or-other. Eiro? Iero? Whatever.

ANYWAY. Would you mind making the trek to Etown? I could fix us lunch or dinner, or whatever meal -- and you'd get to see my gigantic child :) (Plus, I'm sorry to say, I really don't have the money for gas to go anywhere out of town. The only reason I'll have money for gas to go to Louisville for my job interview Monday is I get child support this weekend.) I would love to have you come visit, though :) You could see my (not so much anymore) new place -- Matthew and I are in a townhouse now.

Hee. Have I ever minded making the trek to Etown? It sounds terrific. When's good? My days off are Friday/Saturday--Saturdays are probably best, since Fridays tend to be the days I meet with my old boss for the project I'm volunteering for.

Frank Iero. (And we just found out he and his wife are having twins. The thought of two mini Ieros is enough to make a strong heart quail. [giggles]) He's the guitarist who makes out with Gerard Way (Mikey-of-the-boot's brother) onstage.

Saturdays are fine :) Want to say next Saturday? (I would say this Saturday, but I'm clinging to the hope that I'll actually finish my Big Bang draft, and can use Saturday for that purpose.)

Okay, now that I've said next Saturday, I remembered I'm supposed to be up in Louisville for testing for a job with AT&T at 11a. I just sent off an email asking if I can change my testing time to 9a. If I can (and I don't see why I couldn't) I should be home by about 1p, which would still work.

So, next Saturday? Or does that not work for you? :)

Er. Well.

Actually [cough] next Saturday is the college graduation of The Roommate, ie the guy I lived with for five years and my bestest friend, and considering how much work I went to to help him get this far, I almost feel like this is watching my own graduation, times about a thousand (I never appreciated my degree until I watched him fight so hard to get his). So. I plan to get pretty fucking drunk that day. [grins]

And the weekend after that I think I'm picking up a shift for a co-worker (so she'll take the day after The Roomie graduates, if she ever fucking gets back to me and stops whining about working a Sunday).

But the weekend after? Fridays are good! I can totally do Fridays too! (And while I would love to eat at your house, considering how crappy your month/year has been, I was kinda looking forward to taking *you* to lunch. :)

The weekend after is fine, or any Friday you want to come over. Hell, every Friday, if you want. It'd be lovely to have someone to hang with. You can come and we can go out to lunch, and if you want to stay for dinner, I can still cook ;) Or not. Whatever, I'm easy. HAH. You tell me what day works best for you -- date, I mean -- and we'll go from there. Because I can pretty much guarantee your life is busier than mine. :)

They're totally badass. They are sewn up so I had to tear out the stitching to make the buckles functional instead of decorative so they'd fit tightly enough (peeps worrying about calf width- don't. These are generous in that area).

I get away with wearing them to work - I think that's my favorite thing about them. ;)
