I have a job interview!

I got a call this afternoon from the Office for the Blind, wanting to schedule me for an interview for an Admin Assistant position \o/ So, my interview is 1p on Monday, May 3rd. The only downside to this job is it's in NW Louisville -- an hour drive each way. But you know what? I DO NOT CARE. If they want to give me a job (oh please oh please oh please) I will be happy to drive the distance.

Please, y'all, keep your fingers crossed for me? I would really appreciate it.

Since your jobs generally end up in Louisville have you and Matthew ever considered relocating here? It would at least make the commute easier on you and they sure have some great schools here in town.

Couple reasons I won't move to Louisville. (The first major one is going to be moot before too much longer, but: I hate your mayor. Heh.)

Louisville is more expensive, overall, in terms of housing, insurance, gas, utilities, etc. But more importantly, and the main one I stay down here, according to the Kentucky Chapter of the Autism Society of America, Hardin County schools are rated highest in Central Kentucky, for working with and helping kids with special needs (obvs. kids that fall on the autism spectrum, since it's the ASoA that ranked them).

Plus, our counselor is down here, and our doctors (Matthew's had the same pede for ten years; I've gone to my doctor for longer than that), and it's just expensive to move and I have NO money for relocating. So, here we'll stay :)
