one day I'll post about happy things
Apr. 15th, 2010 10:47 amToday, however, isn't going to be that day.
My next-door neighbor drives this old Ford POS. He has it in and out of the shop for repairs, but what apparently never gets fixed is this weird horn short. When he turns his car off (I guess; otherwise it's purely random) for the next ten minutes or so it'll honk in short bursts. Like someone's sitting there just randomly pushing quickly on the horn. It's annoying as fuck because he works night shift, and if he comes/goes during the week...well. It woke me up a couple times last night.
Allergies still kicking my ass. I feel exhausted, and the shadows/circles under my eyes are this really hideous purple-black, like bruises.
Filed my state tax return; now I have to call the Dept of Revenue and set up a payment plan. Meh.
I have to go in to the Unemployment Office today. I'm dragging my feet because I really don't want to (mostly due to the aforementioned exhaustion).
Of the good, though: TNT is showing "Home" right now. I love when Sam and Dean go see Missouri. I wish we'd seen more of her -- or that we see her again. Missouri is a pretty kick-ass character.
And okay, that was weird. Phone rang while I was typing this up, and because I didn't get to it quickly enough, the caller left a message: to call the local Unemployment/Training Office. They just said "occupant residing at this number", so I called back, got transferred to voice mail, and now I'm waiting to have them call back. Which is funny, since I have to go in anyway. I don't know.
I feel like I want to sleep for a week. Wish I could. Ugh.
