The right side of my neck/along the underside of my jaw and along behind my ear is swollen and tender and SORE, oh, my god. Turning my head is agony. I've also had a headache develop, as well as the teeth on my upper right jaw throbbing and tetchy...and please, universe. I JUST FINISHED a round of antibiotics. I don't need to have the Sinus Infection From Hell, Part 2.

I've swallowed advil, sudafed and benedryl. Now I'm going to dig out my heating pad and go back to bed for a while.

Stupid germs.

Thank you. I'm definitely leaning toward sinus infection; the pain, etc. went away while the meds were in my system. It's been about six hours now and it's starting to come back, and just. Gah. *sigh*

Fortunately, Rhonda gave me a refill option on the antibx. Yay?

Well, it did. Temporarily. Now the meds are starting to wear off, and it's back to hurting. Meh. Time for more drugs and more sleep, methinks.

I'm sorry you feel bad. My first thought is that it might be TMJ pain, which can feel very much like an ear/sinus infection, but then I see the antibiotics you just finished.

Yeah, ordinarily my thought would've been TMJ pain, too, except I have this whole congested-and-lots-of-drainage thing going, too. And the knot of pain is a lot further back than TMJ usually presents (for me) -- it's near the base of my skull. Bleh.

Thanks, darlin'. Drugs are my friend. And Rhonda gave me a refill on the antibiotics (yay for keeping the bottle and seeing that!), so I will probably just refill it and try to kill these germs once and for all.
