He's actually not a bad-looking guy (and recently grew a beard which I think looks pretty good on him). My friend Mickey (from work), who has dated/dates one of the other wrestlers says the real guy is pretty nice, a decent guy to sit and talk to. But they needed a "bad guy", and I guess he drew the short straw.

I still don't have the heart to tell Matthew that probably 90% of what he sees on-screen is fake. It'd break his little heart.

He was going off about how everyone (but him, natch) is addicted to toxins and pollutants, and held up cigarettes and prescription meds, and a fifth of whiskey -- dumped all of it into this huge metal trash can while going on and on about how much better he is than anyone else, living on the 'straight edge' blah blah blah. *stabbity stab stab*

R Truth came out shortly after he poured the whiskey into the trash can, and got up in Punk's face, then slammed him in the stomach with the trash can. While he was laying there trying to catch his breath (you could see he was visibly winded) R Truth dumped the contents of the trash can all over him. (Which, okay. CM Punk annoys me generally just by breathing, but I still thought that was kind of harsh.)

Feel free to poke me about this :) I mostly watch to keep Matthew company, but will admit to openly ogling John Morrison (oh, my GOD is he pretty, or what??). *g* I like Batista in his little leather undies, too ;)

Shame that he's the bad guy though he does it well. Chris and Waryne have been following his career for awhile now. He used to wrestle in the organization near us that Waryne works for and they both think he's a great wrestler and he's apparently really nice.

But maaaan, do I want to smack him even though I know in another year he'll be turned face again when Triple H decides he doesn't want to be in DX anymore.

Yes, I know entirely too much about this. I live in a house of wrestling and my best friend is a commentator. I swear when we have kids (Chrissy/Waryne and us) the boys will be teaching them wrestling moves as soon as they can sit up.

as much as I TRY to avoid wrestling, w/3 boys in the house it's impossible. So I COMPLETELY agree with this post 100% (even tho I know it's all fake I still get sucked up in it sometimes).
