Future!Dean wasn't wearing the amulet, either. So, done on purpose, one more thing to show just how bad it had gotten, to show the division, the rift between Sam and Dean? Or just a detail that got passed over and forgotten?

They didn't address Castiel's search for God either, so I have LOTS OF QUESTIONS for Kripke and Edlund ;D
