I've now reached the stage in my Big Bang where I can't even tell if I'm still making sense, if it works, if it's ever going to be FINISHED, anything.

*stabs BB* *stabs self*

And in truly exciting (plz note the sarcasm) news, we got another person down in the property room today. (Y'all will remember that we get the injured, the ones who are on light duty, administrative leave, in trouble, whatever, right?)

Now we have Lt. Fifer. Who's currently being charged with (among other things) domestic violence.

Call me crazy, but I think it's a BAD idea to bring someone facing those charges into a largely female populated work place.

And even when I brought up with our Lt today that I'm a bit uncomfortable having him there, all she said was, "he just wants a place he can be out of the public eye for the next month, and we have cameras all around."

Yeah. And she's forgetting that yes, we have cameras in the basement, but the monitor they're hooked up to? Currently isn't working. So if any one of us were to go (alone) down to the basement, without knowing for sure if he's there and WHERE he's at...

The charges against this guy include the domestic violence thing, as well as something like kidnapping/false imprisonment/detaining (he made his wife get in the car and when she tried to get out, he chased her down and forced her back in). There's also something to do with his wife saying he'd taken their daughter down to Florida with the express purpose of killing her and hiding the body. Plus the EPO/DVOs sworn against him by like, four different family members...

Yes, PlEASE put him down here where I work. Because it's not a shitty enough place to begin with.

Ugh. My GOD. I get why they can't fire him, innocent until proven guilty, etc... But JEEEEBUS put him somewhere he's supervised better.

Yes. Due process and all that. But yes, better supervised... plus, DON'T put him where there are guns *everywhere*, not to mention all the sharp, pointy things like knives, swords, katanas... *sigh*

Okay. I'm going to quite whining (maybe *g*) and get back to BB. Hopefully. Meh.

Take heart with the BB though, I totally got to a stage where I couldn't even LOOK at mine to READ it, at which point I sent it to my brave beta with SO MANY OBVIOUS typos etcetera that I was very ashamed but seriously, I couldn't see them there anymore. And it turned out acceptable in the end, I think it's just a phase.
