4 Walker Middle School students raped another

The boys involved are the same age(s) (more or less) as my son and his friends. I just can't even process kids doing that.

It's been happening for a long time, it just usually gets hushed up.

There were a couple incidents in the early/mid 70s that meant that kids were not even allowed to walk through the locker rooms at my jr high and high schools unless an adult was there.

Sometimes I think the administration turns over, and ppl forget, there are budget cuts -> staff cuts, and then suddenly BOOM, it happens again.

This is why you need a supervisor everywhere at schools, but especially when there is undressing (and on the girls side, too, because they can be just as violent and viscious).

We had a very similar incident here in NM. A group of football players raped young members of the team for fun I believe. It was outrageous. Several teenage boys were charged, some have already been tried and convicted, others are awaiting trial. I think they were trying to charge adults.

I don't get the violence and brutality that goes on in mid and high school. Apparently they were all "good" boys. Guh. It makes me sick.
