An article in Time, on why some women hate Sarah Palin.

The author of the article makes me want to stab her a lot. And then do it again. The gist of her piece? That basically women hate Palin because she is "too pretty" and "too confident."

There's nowhere to leave a comment (convenient, hmm), but there is an email link at the bottom. Be sure to send a note letting Time and the author know how the article moved you. Me, I'm waiting until my blood pressure goes back down a little bit.

Governor Palin's appearance and confidence have little to do with her qualifications and I assure you, no voters of either gender will be factoring those qualities into their decision on November 4th.

How I wish that were true. My 85-year old stepfather is so infatuated with Palin that he can't see anything else.

And okay - yeah, I definitely see your point. But your stepfather is 85 years old. The first time he voted Henry Wallace was VP. Palin's got to be a lot more attractive.

Yes. :) Dad keeps telling me she's a lot more attractive than Joe Biden. Dad is an old, white guy and he says he's had enough of old, white guys. So I say, hello, Barak Obama? But he only has eyes for Sarah. We have quite the amusing email conversation going on about it. It's a good thing it's via email, if it were in person, I'd be way too annoyed about it.
