Dr. Laura is on the Today Show right now, saying (basically) that men who commit adultry (they're talking about NY Gov Elliott Spitzer)...it's their wives' fault. The wife hasn't done her "duty" in making a man feel...manly enough, fulfilled, etc., so he has to go seeking that validation elsewhere.

Excuse me, I have to go throw up now.

Mother FUCKER. I could...still not accept it, but at least maybe make more sense of it if a guy was saying that. But another woman? I'm sorry, what century are we living in??

the terrifying part is that she's not alone. There's been a very high profile case in the UK, where a man killed 5 prostitutes in and around Ipswitch, and his wife/girlfriend (I forget) was recently asked, in an interview after he was convicted, if she thought that, if thier sex life had been better those women would still be alive. In essence, that it was *her fault* that he killed because she didn't meet his needs at home. SO MUCH RAGE

Oh, absolutely. Because, y'know, when I was married and frustrated with MY sex life, I entertained thoughts of going out and murdering male prostitutes. /sarcasm

I think these people are crawling out of the primordial slime of the shallow end of gene pool.
