my eyes hurt from rolling them so hard

I especially love how he's suddenly the wronged party, here.
He's disabled comments, and I can't find even the 'link' option, but it's the only entry showing up now.

Date: 2008-01-05 04:39 am (UTC)For someone to be this meticulous yet this organized, to lock the journal but not delete it, to be dramatic yet grammatical and rational in his comment responses, to maintain an identity that seemed consistent while plagiarizing even Tham's comments, waiting to find the perfect context, is BIZARRE. What is he getting from it? There doesn't seem to be any financial profit or any way to get into her vacated life. Does he think he IS her? If he does, how does someone whose delusion is that profound still function actively in the shenanigan-wary fan community without twigging anyone's weird-o-meter in SEVEN MONTHS? And if he thought he was her, if his delusion was complete enough to erase his identity, then why didn't he pretend he was her? If he was already nutty enough to make a "we were lovers" claim, he could've said "I DIDN'T REALLY DIE! I'M BACK!"
If he was stealing her shit simply because he wanted positive feedback, why didn't he hide it better or pick a different author? Someone in an obscure fandom, or from a print work? If he's got the patience to slot comments from Tham into conversations in context, he surely has the patience to copy a few chapters from an old short story antho. Once caught, if theft was his only reason, why not just delete and make another account? Why the goofy stories and hints at his identity?
I can see why people have suggested it might be some dope's ill-advised social experiment. True sociopaths usually forget why human relations are interesting after a while and the deeply delusional find it hard to fake consistency and logic.
Or maybe he's a new breed--the dead-person-stalker. Jesus.
