I didn't know thamiris, except in passing, as you know names you see around. I do know she was an excellent writer, and much loved by many people, and she died far, far too young.

This makes me so angry, I'm having trouble finding words. And apparently, not only has boyan_fraser plagiarised thamiris's fiction, but also her LJ posts and *comments*.

ETA: Proving that not only the OP is stupid.. I mean, what do you even SAY to that?

"The Talented Mr. Ripley" anyone? This guy must have some *major* issues to rip off not only the stories, but the meta, the personal entries, the comments and even the *bio* of someone else.

I never understand plagiarism (and right now I'm dealing with two of my students who may or many not have done it on their final papers last semester so I'm in a particularly nasty mood on the subject), but *this*? This goes beyond that to pure pathology. I'm both appalled and *gasp* fascinated by this in the same way you are by car wrecks and dead animals by the roadside. It's compelling in its very gruesomeness.

I really *want* to understand why he did what he did but I know he'll probably never explain and never apologize, just drift away and become someone else.

The whole thing is just sad . . .
