I've pulled all the SPN media files for the time being.

In spite of asking people not to direct-link, I found the "Red Sky" ep direct-linked from here: http://supernaturalfansportugal.blogspot.com/ -- and I know I sure wasn't asked if it was okay.

I know this is my fault for posting the link here, unlocked, and in a couple other places, also unlocked. Ordinarily it wouldn't bother me (much), but I went through *150GB* of bandwidth yesterday. In one day! I absolutely don't mind sharing -- I wouldn't put the files up if I did. But I do mind people taking advantage of me.

I'll put them back up, probably next week, just before the new ep airs. And I'll still share the new file(s)...but you can bet I'm going to be a lot more careful with where I post the link(s).

Sorry for any inconveniencing and thanks for understanding.

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick - what is the matter with people? They've also yanked icons. Even though they credited the creator, I wonder if the creator KNOWS?

Yeah, I saw a shitload of icons and banners and graphics...and I wonder if the creators know, too. Though I suppose at least they're getting credit. I didn't even get that.

*nods* I think this person had good intentions and just didn't KNOW this stuff wasn't ok to do. Seriously. I left a comment at one creator's journal asking if she knew and one of the owners commented back that she didn't know it wasn't always just ok to do. Freaking NOOBS.

I'm really sorry that you should have to do this, but I completely understand why. Some people are real idiots. You are being so wonderful, sharing with us all, why does anyone have to try and go and spoil it?

This situation really sucks. Typical for some people to take advantage but you just do what you feel you need to to deal with it. I don't actually download any eps but i know lots of people do and it's a real shame that a few idiots have to try and ruin for all the decent people you're trying to help out by hosting them in the first place.

I hope you do put it back up...I usually wait till the day before the new ep to download, so as to spread your server load out a little, and I didn't manage to grab it this time before you took it down. *G* So here I am crossing my fingers.
