drabbling...

Still trying to kick-start the brain.
halo: three words: exist, arch and breathe. drabble. get the words coming.
kim: oh... i dunno if i can do a drabble that way. i can try.
kim: you too, same words.
halo: okay :-)
Death warning. If that's a problem, please don't read it.
You don't exist any more. You're nothing more than thoughts, memories; flashes of pain, laughter, tears and joy rolled into mental pictures. You remember being there, being held, touched with reverence, with love. You remember his fingertips tracing your face.
You remember the pain etched into his features, saw his tears hit skin that couldn't feel any longer.
"Breathe, Chris, c'mon, please—" Frantic whisper.
You watched abstractly as the rain mingled with your blood, muting the color. Erasing you.
You watched your back arch when they zapped you, trying to restart your heart.
You hope he believes in ghosts.

Date: 2003-05-13 05:29 pm (UTC)Wow. Just, wow. If you'd asked me if I thought that topic could be covered--successfully--in a drabble, I'd've said no.
I'd've been wrong. You are amazing.
