what a day

So, it's not a cold and it's not the flu, it's bronchitis. *rolls eyes* And a probable sinus infection, just to make things really fun. I have Keflex and sudafed, and orange juice, though, so there's that.

I've spent pretty much the entire day either sleeping (by accident!) or working on my final exam/project for my database mgmt class. My professor is now my most favorite EVER because she extended the due date for the hands-on project until 11p Friday. I could have cried when I got that email, because sick + schoolwork = not computing.

Having spent much of the day asleep or being scholarly, I missed getting to spread some love in the Love Meme over in fleshflutter's journal. I WILL BE DOING THAT FIRST THING TOMORROW. Also, big hugs and love and thanks to everyone who said lovely things about me/to me/for me over there :)

Now I have to go deal with my kid, who has taken shameless advantage of my being distracted by schoolwork (and thus not paying attention to the time), and is still up playing XBox. Gah. I blame the germs. :-/
