*points to icon* I need one
Nov. 30th, 2010 09:07 pmDespite my efforts to stay out of the way of Matthew's germs, I'm now sick. I've had a fever for a couple of days, and general aches and fatigue, and now I have the drainage and congestion to go with it. Even better, I sound like I swallowed a bullfrog. Boo, I say.
My neighbors in C moved out today. Their movers parked the truck in such a way that I couldn't get IN the Buick and I ended up driving my Kia, which is now running on gas fumes. My neighbors in E...I would like to throttle them. I'm not sure how many people live there, exactly. I know at least one adult and two kids (grade-school age); possibly one other adult and an infant. They have every conversation at a level just one below 'sonic boom', and one of the kids has *serious* mommy separation/anxiety issues; if mommy leaves, she cries "MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY" over and over, sobbing it out. I can hear it as plainly as if I were there. Tonight they're watching/listening to *something* that I can hear the low echo of -- and considering our common wall is the one with the staircase, and the cable outlet is on the opposite wall... that must be pretty damn loud.
I miss my nice quiet neighbor, who I only ever knew he was home by if his car was parked out front. :(
I'm tired and cranky, and I have enormous amounts of stuff to do in the next couple of weeks, and I don't have time to be sick, dammit.
I think it's time for bed.
