the long road home

I drove Matthew (and Avery) to St. Charles, MO today, to meet up with Doug. The boys are spending the week with him -- it's fall break.

655 miles roundtrip. *dies* We left here at 7:30a and I got home a little after 8p. And I get to do it again next Saturday! *collapses*

Here's hoping for a nice, quiet, no-tearful-phonecalls week. *crosses fingers*
