*how* long until spring?
Jan. 29th, 2010 01:28 pmCouldn't sleep last night -- so laid down after Matthew left for school. Woke up about 20 min. ago, checked weather.com and one of the local networks to find out Hardin County is dismissing school two hours early and we're now expecting upwards of TEN INCHES OF SNOW (yesterday they were saying it was going to be *three*).
I know ten doesn't sound like a lot to some of you in areas that routinely get a lot of snow, but believe me when I say that is a fucking LOT of snow for southern Kentucky. We don't get all that much snow, here. 2-3" is considered a lot, generally.
Ugh. Well, on the upside, it's mostly the weekend going to be impacted, and I already told Matthew that if it looks like we're getting a lot of snow the sleep-over is off, because I do NOT want to get stuck with an extra kid all weekend.
Now to take some more advil for the headache that just will not go away. *stab*
