spreading the love

I've seen others posting about this, but thought I'd do a post too, since it's been a few days :)

svmadelyn is once again doing her Valentine's Day post. All you have to do is send her an email listing 1-14 people you want to say something nice about, by the 12th of February, and she'll compile them all and post them anonymously.

So go, send her an email, and say something nice to/about the people on your flist that you want to show love to.

hmm, or, thoughts about 4x14. Sorta.

So, I'm curious.

What, to you, constitutes 'hating' a show? (specifically Supernatural, dammit *G*)

( Cutting, just in case, for possible spoilers. )

Does that constitute 'hating' or 'hating on' a show? Because I really don't. (And I'm not saying anyone's accused me of that, or inferred it, or anything else. Just, from comments I've seen all over, I've started wondering.)

I love the show. I adore the show. It pains me sometimes, embarrasses me sometimes, makes me laugh, cry, scowl and occasionally throw pieces of paper at the television. Sometimes I wish my favorite authors were writing the episodes, rather than some of the writers -- and not necessarily for the slash value, but because a lot of the best authors in this fandom can DO things with the emotional resonance that makes my toes curl.

But I don't hate the show, I don't hate Dean, I don't hate Sam. I don't think either guy is perfect (far from it), I think they often speak or act without thinking things through, but I love them for their imperfections. I will always love both boys, but I remain a die-hard Sam!girl.

So! Thoughts? Comments? Chocolate? :) (And probably beware of spoilers in the comments, if you haven't seen the ep yet.)

random acts of kindness :)

I'm kind of spammy today, aren't I? *g*

Today is random acts of kindness day, over in fab_feb_friends, which I think is just the most fantastic thing ever.

In a random act of kindness to my kid, I let him have Avery over to stay the night (seriously, y'all -- fourth? fifth? week in a row. o_O) In a random act of kindness to myself, I had chicken fajitas and disk 3 of S2 of SG-1 for dinner :)

Gonna clean up my room a bit, and then maybe do some of that fancy thing kids these days are calling 'writing'. And hey, maybe answer comments! Before my inbox explodes. *g*
