Hey, y'all. I'm so tired of having to do this, and I'm so sorry to be asking this (again), but I'm here asking for any assistance anyone could spare.

We're having a really hard time right now — more than usual, even for us. Y'all know our car was reposessed a few weeks back. We've managed to get a car from Car-Mart (whom I swore I'd never do business with again, but that's a different story for a different day). Our new car payments are far higher than the original was, but it's weekly, so maybe more manageable.

Then last Friday, Matthew had a seizure and migraine that came with a loss of vision, for several hours. We went to the ER, and all tests came back normal. His eyesight returned after he'd slept for a few hours. He was doctor-excused, for two days. He went in to work Sunday night, but forgot to take the doctor's note with him. Monday morning, a few hours after his shift ended, he was fired — by text message, if you can believe it — for excessive absences without a doctor's excuse. The head of HR for the office he worked out of down here wouldn't even answer his phone call. She would only communicate by text. Even being told he had the doctors notes. So, there's that. We're working on finding him another job, but it takes time.

What this all boils down to is: we need (very desperately) grocery and gas money. we have nothing at the moment.I have an application in for food stamps, but I don't know how long it'll take. We have almost, literally, nothing in the house. I know Madisyn got gas last night, but there's no telling how long it'll last.

Please, if you can spare anything, it would be so appreciated. You can send it to megan.vanmeter11@gmail.com. And if you'd like, feel free to share this around.

Thank you so very, very much.
