Oh, I hate doing this

But I don't have anywhere else to turn at the moment.
Matthew had to quit his job driving for TACK (Transportation of Central Kentucky) after he had a major panic attack and breakdown. He told me afterward that while he'd been telling us that every day was okay, it wasn't. He was overwhelmed by having to multitask all the time. I'd hoped it would work out, but it didn't. But we figured we had his final paycheck from them, plus federal tax return coming, and we'd make it until he and Megan found new jobs.
Unfortunately, the KY Dept. of Revenue, Collections division, had different plans. They sent a levy (I think that's what it's called) through to his bank, to seize anything in his account. The day it went through was the day that his check and federal return dropped into his account. His account had $72 left in it, which the bank then appropriated as their fee for the paperwork on their end. Matthew called the DoR and they said they could lift the levy and put him on a monthly payment plan, starting in March, but they couldn't reverse what was already done.
That was bad luck that kind of kept spiraling. I'd paid the electric bill, figuring to put part of Matthew's check into my account to cover it. Since there was no money then, that bounced, and the overdraft fee triggered a cascade of overdrafts. I had a letter from my utility company telling me I now had two returns from my bank for the past 12 months, and they would no longer accept anything but cashier's check, money order, credit card or cash, and the payment that was returned was due by 2/22 or they'd turn off the power.
So, to sum it up, I need $150 by tomorrow, or my electric is turned off. I have an overdraft in my checking account of $745, and we have no grocery or gas money.
The kids have a job lined up through a temp agency, but they're not going to start that until next Thursday. They're out looking right now; they were going to check with a couple of the temp agencies here in town, plus with the local career/job center. But even if they get a job that starts tomorrow, we're still shit out of luck without some help.
I keep clinging to the hope that they'll find jobs that work for them; it has to happen eventually, right? But in the meantime, if anyone can help us out, it would be so very appreciated. My paypal address is kgasper at comcast dot net. Any amount will help us out, but we urgently need at least the $150.
Like I said, anything would be helpful, but if you can't give anything, please consider signal boosting this. And again, we appreciate any help given.
Thank you, from me, Matthew, and Megan.
