mickeymTo all my Facebook and Livejournal people, I need to ask again for help. It's really a continuation of the GoFundMe to save Mattew's car and get our insurance reinstated.
But first, thank you to everyone who has sent money, or signal-boosted for us.
We went in today to pay the insurance, and then the amount that the manager had told him to bring. Essentially, he broke the payment into two. Not halves, but two parts. That was last Friday. When Tuesday came, Matthew went back up to Car-Mart to talk to the manager. We said we were trying to get it, and how and he gave Matthew until Friday (today) and said they would decide then how to proceed. We took $220 in today. The manager wasn't there. The woman who took the payment said that we needed $100 more by CoB today, and that the "deal" was for last week, not this week. When Matthew asked how she thought he would come up with $100 in a few hours, she said, "You seem like a resourceful guy. You'll think of something."
WTF?
Anyway, long story short, we went back to Car-Mart after running the rest of our errands, and the manager was back from lunch by then. He told Matthew that he can split what is still owed, bring in $50 tomorrow, and the other will roll over into next months's payment, plus a late fee.
We have some money coming from the GFM through the WePay app, but it won't drop until at the earliest, next Tuesday. By which time, in spite of us trying, will be too late.
I'm asking to help me get $100 together by Paypal, so we can pay it now without having to wait. $5, $10, whatever you can spare. I'll find a way to repay it. It may take a while, but I will. We will. Just help me out, $100, so we can stop having to go back and forth to Car-Mart (because they will never discuss it over the phone, you have go to physically up there) and have them extend us by a day or two (not to mention the threat of repossession hanging there).
