I wish every teacher was this open-minded -- because teaching kids as young as first graders, that's when they're most open and accepting of things.

Right? Kids that age are so open to learning and accepting. Children aren't born judgmental; they learn it from the adults in their lives.

But this is a good first step, no doubt.
