I had such a crush on Steve Perry, and his hair and his sideburns, GUH. I actually got teary when he cut his hair, just before filming the video for "Separate Ways".

Now I'm all nostalgic for the 80's. Yikes.

I saw this tour...I was in maybe 9th grade. I also met Steve Perry (well all of them) my friends and I stalked them at a hotel. He wasn't happy to see us, but his girlfriend (Oh Sherrie) gave him shit about being mean to us, and he signed autographs for all of us. He was attractive in person. But, I really wanted to meet Neal Schon, so that was my focus. LOL

Awww. I've been on an Journey kick since David took me to see them at the end of September. I was worried that I wouldn't like them as much without Steve Perry but the new lead singer, Arnel Pineda is damn good and has similar energy to Steve and his voice is really good. We loved it and I've been listening to new and old Journey. I can upload some of the newer stuff if you're curious.

The band is still awesome. Neal Schon gave his guitar to a kid in the front row who had Down's Syndrome. He was all into the show and kept making contact with Neal, so it was really cool to see him with Neal's guitar.
