I just laughed enough to make me forget momentarily about my headache. Dean. Singing along to Air Supply. O_O

"Mr. and Mr. Smith" -- is that a shout-out to the Brad/Angelina movie where they were like, married super!spies, or something? I just remember the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" part.

Not only are they giving us the slash, they're spoon-feeding it to us, at this point. (Seriously, ep title? Slash Fiction?? I mean, I get it it, slash-as-in-slasher film, but still.)

Also, is Sheriff Mills just being nice? Or is she flirting with Bobby? I really like her; I hope she sticks around a while.

Also, also: the doubles discussing how fucked up their reals are? Sad, but not off target by much. Meep.

Fuck. Me. So that's how Sam finds out. Jesus.

And now we're back to "I'm fine." *sigh*

Oh, fuck ME. Really? REALLY? I mean, I totally get Sam being pissed off. He has the right to be. But leaving? Right now? Not a good idea.

I was totally unspoiled for the title of the ep. (Not out of any great effort on my part, just how it happened.)

I sat down to watch this ep with my mom. My mom does not know about slash fiction. I nearly DIED trying not to laugh. (Which was extra painful because I'm sick and all congested, so it turned into a weird combination of choking back laughter and sniffling.)

I didn't know the title either, so yeah. I did much the same, laughing/choking/snorting/sniffling -- though mine was just trying not to hurt my throat, not because I was trying not to laugh. *G*

Don't they know by now that bad things happen when they split up?

I really liked this one a lot.

You'd think by now they'd have clued in. I blame the number of times they've been hit in the head.

I loved this episode.

Playing right into SOMEONE'S hands, in any case.

Now I'm wondering how long before Crowley pops up to see if the Winchesters want to work together (again).

It's part of Crowley's superpower of being able to see the Winchesters clearly. He doesn't underestimate their ability to bring down big game, and he figured out long ago that they'll go where you send them if you send them together. Everyone else keeps trying to split them up, literally get between them, which is about as sensible as getting between the Clashing Rocks. They may not be very bright (and being separated usually halves each of their IQs) but it ain't no thinking thing. They don't even need to know you're there to turn you into a pancake.

Besides, what can that scene with Crowley have been there for except to notify us that arrogant Leviathan is arrogant and Crowley has formally slipped a flyer under its windshield wiper that says, "100% off underestimating me, limited time offer!"

My thought, as soon as Sam grabbed his bag, was, "Dude, dude, this never ends well. Have you not noticed that?" D:

Maybe it's a counterpart to the mysterious belief of TV targets that accepting police protection is humiliating? Or am I the only person who, upon receiving a death threat, would not sneak out of the safe house and lead a high visibility protest? Is everyone just way braver than me?

jep that's what it is about.

I squeed at all the Bobby/Jodie scenes (I don't think I was ever that invested in a side romance subplot that had nearly no build up....but so cute!!! I want them to get together it would be awesome!!!)

I think him leaving is the right decision, I mean, yeah it's inconvenient in the whole "supernatural beasts are trying to kill us" way, but emotionally? I don't think this is a situation where they should be shut up with each other in a tiny car. Both of them (I'm looking at you here Dean) have to really think about this. And I just understand Sam being horrible disappointed and sad and betrayed and his standard is leaving, so yeah (they will make up! But I like how we see that this is totally a big deal)

but such an awesome episode, there is nothing I would change!! (maybe because it hit so many of my kinks. Police searching for them! Outsider POV of the boys! Secrets being revealed! Organized bad guys!)

Yeah, Sam is only guilty here of acting like a human being with a life. Rookie mistake he keeps making, but he just wants a chance to think this over without Dean radiating emo at him so hard he gets a sunburn.

I'm trying to remember which s1 episode it was that Sam left Dean. Was it after the case in the town where their doppelgangers died? Makes Sam's leaving now kinda hilarious, imo.
