100% on both lab assignments for my Web Development class! Nice to know all the coding I've learned over the years is paying off...

In case I didn't share with y'all, this is my course schedule for this semester:

CIT302 - Web Development
CIT310 - Systems Architecture I
CIT330 - Systems Development I
CIT350 - Database Administration I

I've decided I'm clearly masochistic. Or supremely optimistic. Possibly a combination of the two.

And now? It's time to start reading about cascading stylesheets. Meep?

Congratulations! I am in awe. I'm happy if I get the html codes right. :( This looks like a very intimidating schedule for the computer illiterate in me. :) I hope you and your son are doing better.

Thank you :) I'm actually, halfway through week 2, holding an "A" average in three of the classes, and a B in the fourth one. Not too shabby. With luck, I can keep that up the rest of the semester. o_O

Matthew's still coughing and congested, but the antibiotic the doctor gave us was a Z-pack, so I know he will continue to get better for awhile yet. Me... I dunno. I think it's probably allergies, since my throat continues to be sore/then not/then sore, and so on -- along with my ears, and some wheezing when I breathe. Nothing else though, so I'm going to be happy and hope it passes when the pollen dies down some.

My dad's really busy, so I can't offer regular help, but he does design and program databases for a living, and he's actually a REALLY good teacher, so if you run into any database stuff you just can't get your head around, let me know.

(And seriously, do not worry about feeling like it's a stupid question. His customers are 95% hopeless with computers and running a company on an old system that's just finally giving up. So he's pretty used to people not getting it, or needing to think outside the box to explain something to someone. I'm pretty sure you can't out-stupid some of the IT folks he's worked with, actually. Somehow, they're worst. :) )

(My claims of him being a good teacher are based on multiple people's experiences also, not just my own. ;) )
