Earthquake aid

The news coming out of New Zealand is breaking my heart. :(

If you want to help and can do so, there are a couple of organizations:

The Red Cross, or Architecture for Humanity.

This isn't a donation site per se, but has up-to-date information and contacts: Canterbury Earthquake.

Another info page, with a number for international callers: New Zealand Police.

ETA: I had Salvation Army on there, but missyjack tells me they're rabidly homophobic. So, let's go with the others :)

Have you managed to get in touch/hear from everyone you have in the area? I PM'd halo last night, and she sent back that they felt it strongly down there, but everyone was okay. From what I understand kiwiana, annella and gretazreta are all accounted for.
