For Halloween this year, Matthew wanted to have his friend Eric come over, spend the night, and they were going to play XBox and watch horror flicks. I said fine, and made plans to spend the evening hiding in my room upstairs, doing other things. Probably with headphones on.

Then last night, Matthew asks if Justin can join them. Sure, I said, what's another boy?

And this afternoon, just an hour or two ago, Matthew comes to me with his phone to his ear and says, "can Avery spend the night, too?"

And I said yes. *headdesk*

So, to recap: I will be having four teenage boys, ranging in age from 15 to 17, in my living room, hyped up on sugar and caffeine. All night.

Send help. Or booze.

I'd say give the booze to them, but then I remembered that's not such a good idea. :-/

Yeah, really not. It'll actually probably be okay. I'll just have to close my bedroom door--but thankfully it's not super cold (or hot) so it's no big deal.

I'm still gonna hide out in my room, though *g*

Do you have any idea what you're doing for NaNo yet? Not that it matters, because the answer is always "WRITING MOAR WORDS", but I'm curious. :D
