Describe 3 achievements that are important to your career objectives.

Does that mean three things I've DONE that are important to my career objectives? Or three things I want to achieve as a result of my career objectives?

YES IT DOES. And I've had about all I can handle of it. However, my sister is paying for me to have my resume redone professionally -- I'm just doing the prep work for it.

Ugh. I hate all of this SO MUCH.

I think you need more "provable" things. Like...I can type 85 WPM, I've taken a public speaking class, I've written numerous corporate memos, etc. (Those are awful examples, but you get the point!)

Haha. The key in resumes is to figure out what they want to hear and then shape your factual information to say it. True stuff! :)

I think they are trying to get you to talk about past accomplishments which would be a good indicator that you would be successful in the position that you are applying for. Even if the jobs are different, specific skills with examples that you possess that transfer well to the position.

Like, I worked as a bank teller for 18 months while in college. The position required excellent customer service skills and accuracy. In the entire time I worked as a teller, I was only out of balance one time and it was $2. I enjoy working with the public and my accuracy and attention to detail make me perfect for....

You *could* mix it up, though I'm pretty sure that they mean things you've already done.

Plus they don't have to be direct links: if, say, you ran the video club in college, you could claim people skills, budget management, inventory experience, etc. - that kind of stuff counts. (You probably know that.)
