I... don't know, so far. I mean, I want to smack Sam for not telling Dean he was back. But okay, I can get past that.

I really don't want this to turn into the Campbell show :(

I . . . I don't know what to think.

The show has always been about Sam and Dean. I think those Campbells will turn out to be up to no good. I am pretty sure TPTB know better than to spring a family on us.

Sam did not seem very Sam-like to me.

Overall, my general impression post-ep is: What. The. Hell. Was. That?

Perspective is so hinky. I absolutely loved it. Dean looked freakin' great, and so did Sam. I like what they are setting up - and that's what it is, a set up.

There wasn't a lack of chemistry to me - it was more like they were feeling each other out, getting familiar with each other again. Which is obviously difficult considering they've both changed.

The only thing I didn't like was that Dean was a little too ambivalent towards Lisa. He looked happy in those pictures!

And yeah, grandpa. Something is up with that dude. I was half expecting Dean to give a Winchester! reminder when he was going on about the Campbells.

I liked it. But I wanted to like it going in. Its the beginning of a new journey that I'm totally stoked for.

Where do you go from the apocalypse? This opener wasn't as epic as previous ones, but I feel like it's starting over; because of that they're forced to lay groundwork.

I hope it will pick up.

Yeah... it was kind of.... I dunno. We'll see?

...we can always pretend it was the 4-season show Kripke led us to believe?

I'm on the fence. Heh, you wrote 2 lines and I wrote about 2000, but we said pretty much the same thing. *g*

I liked it, sweetie. It felt off and left me very disquieted but I think that was exactly what they wanted it to do.

Sam is broken, there is an essential part of his humanity missing and he knows it. It's what he won't come right out and say to Dean there at the end but it's there.

The Campbells are as creepy as heck and I don't trust them a bit. The mirror, like our perceptions, is broken. I think we'll be given the pieces to fit it back together again over the next few episodes.

I like Lisa, a lot. I think I'll like Ben, too, if we're given a chance to know him better. And, like I said before, I think they really did mean to weird us the heck out. It was a conscious choice on Show's part.

*hugs*

srsly: they're getting in the way of the Epic Story.

Oh don't worry. They're totally setting the Campbells up to the bad guys and Sam will need to get Dean for backup and take out their own "family". Um, I'm extrapolating that on Skinner Grandpa Campbell kidnapping the Djinn instead of killing her.

But I totally agree with wanting to smack people for not telling Dean Sam was alive.

SERIOUSLY. I watch for the Winchester brothers, not sub-plots about family they barely even know, and I can easily see that happening. ::cries::
