Also, on a similar note, right this very minute I kind of love Facebook -- because through FB I found a friend I haven't seen/heard from/talked to in probably 30 years. At least. We were best friends from second through fourth grade, and then her family moved and not long after that MY family moved. We lost touch, though I ran into her older sister off and on one summer, because she worked at the video rental place just up the street from where my dad lives.
It actually makes me feel all warm and happy, thinking about those years and my friendship with Sara. Innocent years, when my most pressing problem was how many books I could check out from the library at one time. (Though I do still hold her and her older sister responsible for my fear and loathing of horror books/movies, as it was her older sister who gave me "The Amityville Horror" -- nine yr olds should NOT read that stuff.)
Happy Monday, y'all :)
