I don't think Chuck can be God because Chuck was in the presence of the amulet around Dean's neck and it never glowed. And assuming that God doesn't screw with it, then it should have glowed, but didn't. Just my thought on it, although it's a cool idea.
what if it didn't work? there's always that possibility. And honestly...if God doesn't want to be found...I don't think anything would find him. I'm just going to let Chuck/God be my canon
