tree is up!

Not decorated, but it is up -- and it's lit, thanks to that lovely bit of sense I showed last year, when buying my pre-lit tree. *beams*

AND! Just in time for the holiday... Matthew and I are both sick. Again. *sigh* He's coughing and congested and snotty; I'm hot and achy and wheezing. His is a very wet, phlegmy-sounding cough, so I'm probably going to take him to the doctor tomorrow and make sure it's not bronchitis. Me, I guess I'll just keep taking tylenol and mucinex and hope the wheezing doesn't develop into anything else. Like pneumonia. Meh.

Oh, well. We're not deathly ill, just feeling kind of punky, so it could be worse. The only things I still have to do that are holiday-related are write out a half-dozen cards, and wrap Matthew's presents. Oh, and finish my exchange story--but even that I have until the 28th.

Ooh. I think I'm going to make some tea. That sounds really good right now. Hot tea, with lots of sugar.

I have a lot of mail to go through, but lots of interesting looking envelopes, so I'll probably be back tomorrow all !!!! and grinning from holiday cards.

I'm sorry you're feeling punky, sweetie. But yay for having the tree up! Pre-lit is a great invention.

Mmm tea. I need to make some. I got Dad to get me a great kind at Trader Joe's yesterday.

I just have the regular old Liptons right now, but with lots of sugar, and strong, and it feels GOOD on my scratchy throat. Now if only I could convince Matthew to bring it to me in bed...
