farewell, weekend

mickeymSo, it's 4:03a and I'm awake. Not because I'm not tired, I just can't sleep. Stupid insomnia. *kicks it*
Had a pretty nice weekend, all told. Lots of sleep on Saturday (and doing very little else) and then on Sunday my friend Mickey came down with her S3 disks of Primeval. She, Matthew and I sat and watched all three disks while making snarky comments and eating homemade slow-cooker chili and chips. It was a really nice time, and Mickey gets serious kudos for making it through 10 hours of television viewing with my kid (always a challenge, but he likes to 'show off' a bit when there are visitors here). Afterward -- all three of us disgusted by the fact that they canceled the show -- Matthew showered and headed for bed while Mickey filled me in on all the happenings of the property room.
From what she's told me I'm so glad I'm out of there. It sounds like chaos that isn't improving with time.
I am SO behind on wishing people a happy birthday! BAD KIM. *smacks hand* So, to that end, I want to wish a belated, but heartfelt Happy Birthday to:![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
