anemia boo

mickeymI had what was (and shouldn't be) a rather stunning revelation this afternoon: the absolute and complete energy drain I've been feeling the last couple of days (I slept 16 hours last night and this afternoon and still felt wiped out)... my anemia is back. It never even occurred to me (and it should have) until I glanced down at my hands, to realize my nails looked funny. Like, completely pale. *Completely*. No pink at all.
Made a quick trip up to Walgreens for some Ferrous Sulfate, and I guess I'm going to have to go back to taking it every day, since my periods, when I get them, are super heavy, any more.
Stupid anemia. Plus, stupid ME for not making the connection sooner. I've had this how many years, now? Geez. You'd think after six or so, I'd be a little better at recognizing the signs.
Now, I think it's time for a nap. Or something.
