Not even all the way through the credits and I cried twice. I have a feeling this ep is going to kill me.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Are Sam and Dean, and Bobby, like the ONLY sane hunters in the world? What the hell is it with them threatening non-hunter-type people?? And why the hell would they think it's a GOOD idea to get Sam pissed off at them, try and force demon blood into him? Good grief.

MOTHERFUCKING CHRIST. I *CALLED* IT AT THE END OF LAST SEASON. SHIT SHIT SHIT.

Dean is in, like, a textbook scenario. He's doing what Sam did years ago -- trying to convince himself he's better off without his family.

And actually, in both of their cases, they're arguably right. I mean, we talked about differentiation of self (http://www.psychpage.com/learning/library/counseling/bowen.html#Z3) and emotional fusion today in class, and I actually made stars and exclamation points all over my notes and wrote "WINCHESTERS." ;P

Which doesn't make me want to smish them together any less, because, hello, fictional characters. But both brothers, in the face of completely impossible supernatural circumstances, are behaving about as realistically as is possible. (Which is kind of why I love this show.)

They're clearly being set up for The Ultimate Showdown, but I think it will be all right -- I really do. I have faith in them. They already had world-ending epic love -- I think they really both do need to grow up a little in order to have world-saving epic love. ;)

Fuckers. And yet...Sam held down and demon blood forced down his mouth...Kind of hitting my angst kinks, and going a long way to add to this poor puppy's desperation with Lucifer all ready to sweep in. I mean, if this is how the guys on your side treat you? I kind of want to induce a coma in myself until next Thursday - I can't handle the wait! But I probably won't be able to handle the episode either, gah....

Oh, this totally hit up on angst kinks, no doubt. But seriously--after some of the other hunters we've seen (most notably Gordon Walker, but there've been others), Sam and Dean are a veritable sea of sanity.

And yeah. The wait time between eps...this is why I HATE watching a show 'live', as it were. At least when it's over and all out on DVD, you can just mainline the eps, one right after another ;)
