hate bugs! HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE

Silverfish. I have 'em in this apartment. Doesn't matter that the bug guy comes every month, I still have 'em. On an average I see maybe three or four a month, so I know it's not a lot (sometimes it's not even the three or four), but STILL.

BUGS. BIG, LOTS-OF-LEGS BUGS ON MY WALLS RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD. AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Big, big BIG one tonight, easily a half-inch long. I sprayed that mother with the can of Raid I keep ON MY DESK... and it's dead, but now it's just. Hanging there. Right near the ceiling, couple inches from it, maybe. Just--there. *shudders*

UGH i hate silverfish. Used to get those and huge house centipedes.

Do you use silverfish packets (http://www.shophometrends.com/product.asp?pn=030001&bhcd2=1253195452) at all? I swear by them. They are little paper envelopes full of Boric Acid, which is deadly to silverfish (and ants and cockroaches). My parents' home is chock full of old books (which is a feast for silverfish - they like to hang out in places with lots of paper or old fabric) and old chests full of quilts and such, so they basically threw a bunch of silverfish packets down the backs of the bookshelves and a handful in each chest and voila, no more silverfish.
