Okay! A meme I can get behind, gakked from half my flist:

The WIP meme: post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations.

1. Sam doesn't need to watch to see if Dean obeys, but he does anyway; watches Dean lower himself to his knees right beside Sam's chair, wrists crossed behind his back, worry lines on his face already easing.

2. Momma says that God works in mysterious ways – though she's said it a lot less since his cancer was diagnosed – and Jared has to agree with her on that one, because right after he wishes someone would come in, the door swings open and a nurse – he guesses it's a nurse – walks backward through the door, arms piled high with what Jared hopes are more warm blankets.

3. "Sammy?" He's trying for casual, he really is, because Sam at fifteen is kind of like a powder keg, waiting to go off. "You okay, dude?"

4. His brother is now his sister, and he's -- she's -- maybe sick, and something's made her look scared in a way Sam's never seen Dean look, and fuck.

5. He keeps up the litany of filthy words, whisper-growled and raw, and they wash over Jensen until he's trembling, hand shaking as he undoes his pants and jacks himself in time with the thrusts into his mouth.

6. You're pretty sure Pastor Jim wouldn't have been quite so enthusiastic if he knew the direction of some of that love and need (and lust, which is definitely one of those seven deadly sins, and one you're guilty of over and over, for years, now) because it's not just your family, as a whole, and not all the love and need is pure, or whatever feelings for family should be.

7. It's over, it's a wrap, they won, and hopefully he doesn't ever have to hear the name "Ellison Darrow" again.

8. He waits until Jared's eyes are closed to spring up and pounce, settling over Jared on his hands and knees, not quite touching that broad, gorgeous body--but close.

9. The drone of the needle buzzed inside Sam's head until he wasn't sure if he was hearing it, or feeling it; it shivered all through him, hot and electric until his blood felt like lava boiling through his veins and his dick hung heavy and full between his legs, throbbing in time with his pulse.

10. If he can get to Dean's room, he'll be safe, because even if Dean teases him and picks on him sometimes, he's still Sammy's big brother.

Y'know, it's a lot harder than it seems, picking ONE sentence. Sheesh.
