you can't engage with those types. believe me, as a liberal christian i can quote the bible with the best of them, and it does no good. they live in a black little box.

... not to mention basically EVERYTHING JESUS EVER SAID.

did those folks never read the parable of the woman taken in adultery? and how his answer at first was just to sit there, drawing in the dirt, as if to say, STOP WASTING MY TIME -- yall pharisees and hypocrites set up the system of prostitution and wife ownership that created her as an adulterer... let those among you who were without sin, cast the first stone (just like the right has set up Gay folks as "outside marriage" a priori). jesus wasn't dealing in hypotheticals there, he was dealing with real human beings, and his message was to Stop Judging and Learn to Love each other.

But of course YOU ARE THE CHOIR.
