Right-click and save as. Unzip the file, then change the extension from .doc to .avi and enjoy!

Does this (http://www.fileinfo.com/help/mac-change-program.html) work? Not a Mac user (yet!) so I can't say for certain this will help, but it looks promising! Good luck! :)
