Good GRIEF, Charlie Brown. Two weeks in between the last two eps. *sigh*

Saw that schedule last night and hope it isn't true. Why would they wait two weeks before the final when that only breaks the momentum? The ratings for the first episode after a hiatus are always down. Go figure.

hahahah, ahhh. clearly I should read other people's comments before making my own. Instead I just end up repeating things already said. *facepalm*

in other words, YES to what you said :)

And you just know Ep #21 is gonna end with a major cliffhanger (i.e. somebody friggin DIES a la AHBL) and we'll all be snaggle-haired messes by the time the finale airs. And THEN, when the finale airs, somebody ELSE will probably be dead, and we'll all be messes for four friggin months. *growls at Kripke*

I cannot believe the CW would be so stupid to put a break between the two final episodes, looking at their numbers and how low numbers are after hiatus. *stabs them*

I miss the UK where if the US shows had cliffhanger penultimate episodes, they would do a special two hour season finale.

*bug eyes!*

Where did this come from? Is the source reliable?

Last I heard, The CW had already announced Supernatural (and Smallville, for that matter) would have their finales on May 14th, not the 21st. The 21st is after sweeps are over, even! Why would they have the finale after sweeps?! Ugh, that would be so stupid.

The only *possible* explanations for skipping a week would be:

a) they want to avoid the competition. Grey's Anatomy, CSI, The Office, and 30 Rock are all going to have their finales on the 14th. Needless to say, Supernatural will get slammed in the ratings that night. But in my opinion, it'd be far more effective to just do a one-week hiatus in April and have the finale on May 7th! Skipping a week before the finale is going to lead to bad ratings anyway. :(

or b)the CW's upfronts are May 21st. They know Smallville and Supernatural are coming back already, so maybe they want to use the 14th to run an encore of that Gossip Girl spin-off pilot they're supposed to run that week to see if it picks up any more audience. So they can see the ratings before upfronts. If this is the reason, the CW is lame to the lamest possible degree.

UGH. CW, I HATE YOU.

(P.S.: ranting not directed at you!! I quite frequently get annoyed to death by The CW's asinine decisions. :P)
