The entire northern half of Kentucky (Elizabethtown being more-or-less on the dividing line, yay us) along with Indiana and Ohio is currently under a state of emergency due to the ice storm. At the moment, it's raining, but the temp (currently at 32F) is supposed to start falling again in the next couple of hours, and all that will change over to freezing rain (again) and then into snow, with Louisville expecting 3-6" inches by mid-morning.
The entire freakin' state is closed. Courts, schools, businesses, all of it. Hell, Fort-freaking-Knox is closed. You know it's bad when the military base closes. I so do not want to call in again tomorrow, but even less do I want to drive in that shit. State and local police are saying to stay in unless you have to go out.
I do need to know if any of y'all will bail me out of jail when I give in to the urges to commit infanticide, though. ARGH.
