mickeymMajel Barrett-Roddenberry passed away. :( I had no idea she was 76! RIP, Majel.
Tonight I wrapped what felt like a zillion gifts, all so I can go to the post office tomorrow and mail stuff to Michigan, Connecticut, Florida and Kansas. *dies* Also wrapped up the gifts Matthew's giving to his teachers. I'm so tired right now I want to cry, but if I can make it through tomorrow then I have the weekend to do cards and decorate the tree, and then... I only have to work Monday, and I'm OFF THE REST OF THE WEEK! \o/
Made of FAIL, however, is the snafu with Matthew's xmas gift. I ordered a Nintendo DS Lite, an accessory kit, and three games for him, from Dell. (Why? Because money is in short supply right now, and I have a Dell charge account, and yeah, I'm closing it after the new year gets here. ANYWAY.) Everything has shipped/arrived except the actual Nintendo...which has now been delayed for shipping until Dec. 23rd. o_O I called them today to switch shipping to overnight, and change the address from work to home, since I'll be home, only to be told that once an order has been placed it's 'locked in' in the system -- no changes to shipping type or address. *sigh* So unless a friggin' miracle happens, Matthew won't get his main Xmas gift until after Xmas. So.Not.Happy.
Ugh. I had other things to say, and can't remember them, now. I think I'm going to go collapse in bed, and pray tomorrow passes quickly.
