True Colors, by
munibunny. J2 a/u, rated R.
Summary: Jared is a mentally challenged young man with a very special gift. Jensen is an executive with nothing in his life but work. They meet by accident and discover a connection that defies explanation.
I had reservations when I sat down to read this, but they were needless. This is a rich, gorgeous story that's full of emotion; full of love. Writing someone with a disability of any kind is tricky; when that disability is mental/developmental, rather than physical, I think it becomes even trickier. But the author handles this very well. There's never any question of consent and it's not squicky at all. Just an absolutely beautiful story. If you haven't read it yet, go do so now, and be sure to let the author know you enjoyed it.
And then, for something completely different and still very wonderful:

aynslee. I can't say much about this without lapsing into spoilers for 4x01, and that includes the pairing -- so if you click on the link, be aware. Big, huge, honkin' spoilers for the season premiere ep :) But I do recommend it highly; it's gorgeous and very hot.
