So, me and rivers_bend were chatting, as we do. And the conversation turned to Sam and Dean, as it does. *g*

me: matthew and i have been watching some SPN the last couple of days, and my GOD the slashiness. it's just RIGHT THERE. in our faces, as it were.
River: SO MUCH EYESEX
me: yes!!! and the scene at the end of "Hunted", when Sam's untying Dean, and Dean's cupping his face, and smoothing his thumb over Sam's cheek.

River: *dies of hot slashy goodness right there on the screen *
me: and dude. in "Playthings"? The scene where Sam's drunk, and pulls Dean to him, holding his face like he's gonna kiss him? Matthew says "that doesn't look right, mom".
MY THIRTEEN YR OLD CAUGHT THE SLASH.
River: it looks perfect. What's he talking about? [wink]
me: well, y'know. far be it from a 13yr old boy to say it looks right. [smile]
River: I suppose it's best if your 13 year old isn't normalizing gay fraternal incest
me: probably. ::sighs:: what's WRONG with this world, that I can't? [tongue]

Hahah! Oh, no. It freaks me out when people call the gayness in my shows. I'm all, "hey, hippy, stay out of my fandom space!" and deny deny deny all knowledge. It's safer that way.

I want to know how anyone can watch that and NOT think "Sam is totally thinking 'come fuck me'" when he rolls over and wiggles his butt.
